Molecular Mechanisms regulating Skin Homeostasis

Dear all,

We are very pleased to announce the upcoming International Symposium “Molecular Mechanisms Regulating Skin Homeostasis”. This three-day event from September 23 (1pm) – 25 (1pm), 2013 takes place in the Main Lecture Hall of the new MPI building, at the University of Cologne, Germany.

This year Carien Niessen (Department of Dermatology), Björn Schumacher (Institute for Genetics) and Sara Wickström (Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing) have put together an excellent cutting edge program. We are looking forward to the presentations of international leaders in the field of skin biology to discuss the state-of-the-art knowledge and future developments on Epithelial differentiation and barrier maintenance, Cell damage, tissue repair and ageing, Cellular cross talk in inflammation, Matrisomes, integrins and remodeling.
