PHYSICIANS BRIDGING CLINIC AND RESEARCH

PHYSICIANS BRIDGING CLINIC AND RESEARCH

An important aim of SFB 829 is to bridge basic research with clinical dermatology and to foster translation of basic findings to clinical settings. To advance this goal further we initiated a new series of seminars targeted at clinicians and clinical residents interested in science and scientists interested in translational research. We therefore invite leading dermatologists/physicians who successfully established a career in translational medicine and investigative dermatology to come to Cologne to serve as a role model for our young clinician scientists and as an inspirational source for how to open new doors to understand the molecular basis of skin diseases that can lead to new insights and developments in clinical dermatology.
